Concreteshield NS advanced Nano Silica - Water-repellent Concrete Protection

ConcreteShield NS is a water-based penetrating product that increases the gloss, hardness and chemical resistance of concrete. It provides water-repellent (hydrophobic) waterproofing that is vapor-permeable and improves the chemical resistance of the concrete floor. ConcreteShield NS penetrates deep into capillaries, micro-cracks and pores without forming a sealed film surface. A reaction then occurs between salts and minerals to form a very hard surface. This results in a crystalline structure that stops the transport of water but allows vapors to pass through (diffusion). Because the protection sits deep, it is insensitive to external influences such as abrasion and impacts. ConcreteShield NS leaves no actual film on the surface and only wears if the substrate itself wears. Best results are obtained if it is high-speed polished at 1,500 rpm or more.
